Mainstage events of the day: inspirational talks, startups and awards
With the Main offer you can access all the events on the Mainstage. You will be able to attend inspirational talks on present and future trends, research presentations, and market data thanks to the contribution of the major national and international players, but also reflect on innovative topics and solutions with a social impact. Among the events scheduled on the Mainstage: live concerts, performances, and awards with the involvement of artists, and entertainment, cinema, and web personalities. The grand finale of the Startup Competition will also be held on the Mainstage, alongside the WMF Awards Ceremony and the Innovation Film Fest awards ceremony. In addition, you will have access to live streaming and all video recordings of the events on the Mainstage.
Opening Ceremony
With the Main offer you can attend the Opening Ceremony of the 11th edition of WMF 2023, the opening act of the three days: a moment that brings together the entire Festival community, highlighting the main values of WMF.
Concerts and entertainment
During the three-day event, you will be able to attend live concerts, performances, and shows held on the Festival's Mainstage and more. From June 15th to 17th, 2023, at the Rimini Expo Center, in addition to the roaming performances of the buskers present at the event, many show moments await you on the Mainstage, including the WMF Awards Ceremony, performances by entertainment industry figures, and web creators. Among the artists already announced for the upcoming edition are Dardust, Dargen D'Amico, Samuel, N.A.I.P. and Lucariello. Throughout the three days of the Festival, experience all the excitement, music, and entertainment live and in person in Rimini, at 100%.
Finale Startup Competition
With the Main offer you can attend the grand final of the Startup Competition, one of the largest international competitions for startups. Among the winners of previous editions, there are TOMMI, Friendz, PatchAI, FitPrime, Isaac, Yape, lightScience, FlowPay, Recornea, and MyLeg, as well as Golee and AerariumChain the two winning projects of the 2022 Startup Competition. This year, the following startup will compete on the Mainstage: PlanetWatch, Functional, Cyrkl, Wallife, Yalla, Flyvirtual. A prize pool of over 2 million euros is up for grabs! The total prize value to date has been over 3.3 million euros, for a total of over 4,300 startup applications.
Talk, panel and conversations on the Mainstage
Every year the Mainstage of the WMF hosts key personalities with inspirational talks, panels, round tables, and interviews, addressing innovative subjects with a high social impact. Among the main topics at the WMF are robotics, AI, scientific and technological research, topics widely explored by outstanding personalities during the event.
Open Stage
With this offer, you will have access to over 49 Open Stages at WMF 2023, dedicated to the main themes of digital and social innovation. You will be able to attend all panels, presentations, debates, speeches, and interviews with guests. Among this year's Open Stages are the Startup Stage, AI for SMEs, AI for Education and AI for Work, Space Economy, Innovation Film Fest, and many more. Additionally, you will have access to live streaming and video recordings of the top Open Stages.
Expo Area and District
The WMF is a certified international trade fair with over 600 exhibitors, 1,000 startups and delegations from over 85 countries. Tech companies, innovative companies, companies, web agencies, investment funds, startups and scaelup will be present within the Exhibition Area. You can visit the Fair and create growth opportunities for your business through B2B meetings and numerous business and networking events organized during the 3 days. Inside the Exhibition Area, you will also find several Thematic Districts dedicated to Startups, Robotics, AI, Creators, Makers, bookstores and publishing houses, but also the drone area, the comics area and the eSports area. Among the exhibitors present in the last edition also: Mic - Ministry of Culture, CINECA, Stellantis with test drive areas, Hoepli, Trustpilot, Aruba, Esa - European Space Agency, Infinity Mediaset, Nexi, Sprinklr many others.
World Startup Fest: many events for startups and scaleups
With the Main offer you can also access the World Startup Fest: a recipient entirely dedicated to startups and scaleups from all over the world. You will be able to attend the largest Startup Competition in Italy, the Scaleup For Future panel and the International Startup Showcase, but also access the Startup Stage and the Startup District and participate in networking events between startups, investors, research institutes and companies in the sector. Many investors and realities from the innovation ecosystem will be present during the three days: during the past editions WMF featured Amazon Web Service, ARDUINO, Barilla, Boost Heroes, Cisco, Digital Magics, Enel Innovation Hub, Engineering, H FARM, I3p Torino, IAG, Innogest, LuissEnlabs, Mediaset Infinity, NTT Data, Oracle, PAM Innovation Hub, Tim W Cap, UniCredit Start Lab, MiC - Ministry of Culture and Vueling.
Business and Networking events
The Main offer allows you to access multiple business and networking events; the Festival is a tool and an opportunity for meeting, and for promoting professional growth thanks to business and networking activities scheduled during the three days. You will be able to participate in B2B meetings with industry players, companies, and international startups present in the Expo Area. You can expand your network of Italian and foreign contacts also through the Speed Meeting and Business Matching and, you can participate in the Digital Job Placement, the recruitment service for Digital Professions, created to bring together companies and professionals and promote employment in the digital field.
